Just a reminder that a happy retirement is dependent on a number of factors as detailed in my book How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free (Retirement Wisdom You Won't Get from Your Financial Advisor).

Although largely ignored by the media, this book has already sold over 75,000 copies and has been published in 7 foreign languages since it was recently released by Ten Speed Press in Berkeley, California.

What's more, go to www.Amazon.com and conduct a search for "retirement". You will see that i>How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free appears in the number 1 position — out of over 150,000 listings for retirement books!

The E-book (in PDF format) with over half — mainly the top half — of How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free is available for free on The Joy of Not Working Website at www.thejoyofnotworking.com

Entirely agreed.
In my opinion, one retires, when he is tired. Those, who try to make world a better place are never tired as the persuit only ends, when finally one retires from this world.
There is so much of experience, knowledge and skill, which can be shared by one ,who comes out of active employment. The important
aspect is packaging of all these in a form that not only value adds
to others but also attracts them to be receptive to such prized possessions.
